What to Expect at Your First Visit with South Pasadena Oral Surgery

 

Thank you for choosing South Pasadena Oral Surgery. We’re committed to making your experience as comfortable and efficient as possible. Below is a list of important information to help you prepare for your first visit:

 

What to Bring

 

  • Referral Form: A referral form from your doctor is not required, but if you have one, please bring it to your appointment.

 

  • Insurance Information: If you plan to use insurance, bring a copy of your insurance ID card. Our team will handle the insurance processing for you.

 

  • Medication List: Please bring a list of any current medications you are taking.

 

  • Photo ID: If you are over 18, bring a valid photo ID.

 

 

 

Your Appointment Timeline

 

30 Minutes

During the first 15-20 minutes, you will fill out a New Patient Packet. This includes sections for billing information, insurance, privacy forms, and necessary federal documents. Once completed, our office administrators will review and enter your information into our system, which takes approximately 10 minutes.

A surgical assistant will then meet with you to review your medical history and assess whether any X-rays or CT scans are needed for a comprehensive examination. Any necessary radiographs will be taken at this time. Once ready, the assistant will introduce you to the doctor.

 

30 Minutes

The doctor will review your health history, medications, and any relevant findings from your radiographs. They will discuss treatment options, make recommendations, explain the recommended procedure and answer questions. Once you and the doctor decide on a treatment plan, our treatment coordinator will document it and provide a detailed breakdown of each stage, along with a clear cost estimate.

 

30 Minutes

If you choose to proceed with treatment on the same day, we will prepare your treatment room and complete the procedure. Alternatively, if you prefer to schedule for another day, our team will help you finalize the paperwork and arrange for financial details, allowing you to book a time that’s convenient for you.
